Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol/Cod ADY Newydd – Additional Learning Needs/New ALN Code
Credwn fod gan bob plentyn yr hawl i gyflawni ei wir botensial a chymryd rhan ym mhob gweithgaredd ysgol, felly mae Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol yn parhau i fod yn flaenoriaeth bwysig i ni. Mrs Lisa Thomas yw cydlynydd ADY. Mrs Julia Miles yw cyswllt y Llywodraethwr ar gyfer Angen Dysgu Ychwanegol
Darpariaeth. Mae'r ysgol yn cysylltu'n agos ag asiantaethau allanol sy'n gallu cynghori ar strategaethau. Bydd yr holl anghenion ychwanegol yn cael eu hasesu i hwyluso darpariaeth ddigonol. Mae plant sydd â thalentau penodol neu ddisgyblion mwy abl hefyd yn cael eu hannog i ddatblygu ar raddfa sy'n briodol i'w potensial. Fe'u hanogir i gymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau rheolaidd sydd wedi'u cynllunio i fod yn fwy heriol.
Rydym yn cynnal nosweithiau rhieni ddwywaith y flwyddyn i drafod cynnydd a thargedau'r dyfodol. Rydym yn anfon adroddiad cynnydd blynyddol ar ddiwedd Tymor yr Haf gyda gwahoddiad i gwrdd wyneb yn wyneb os oes angen.
Rydym wedi parhau i baratoi a gwella ein dealltwriaeth o'r cod ADY newydd dros y flwyddyn ddiwethaf. Rydym wedi derbyn nifer o sesiynau hyfforddi ac wedi derbyn cyngor gan arbenigwyr ADY. Rydym wedi adolygu ein cofrestr ADY.
We believe that every child has the right to achieve their true potential and participate in all school activities, so Additional Learning Needs remain an important priority for us. Mrs. Lisa Thomas is the ALN coordinator. Mrs. Julia Miles is the governor link for Additional Learning Needs provision. The school works closely with external agencies that can advise on strategies. All additional needs will be assessed to facilitate adequate provision. Children with specific talents or higher ability students are also encouraged to develop at a level appropriate to their potential. They are encouraged to participate in regular activities designed to be more challenging. We hold parent evenings twice a year to discuss progress and future targets. We send an annual progress report at the end of the Summer Term with an invitation to meet face to face if necessary. We have continued to prepare and improve our understanding of the code. New SEN (Special Educational Needs) developments over the last year. We have received several training sessions and have received advice from SEN experts. We have reviewed our SEN register.
